Specific Need

Our long-standing organization operates a non-profit licensed child development center that serves youth ages newborn to 12 years of age with an integrated preschool. An on-site historic community center provides opportunities for the greater community to fellowship together through various community activities and events. 

Your contributions provide our organization the ability to complete capital improvement projects, for example, replacement of the single pane windows, original to the 1948 structure along with restroom and commercial kitchen upgrades to the community center.

It is our goal to provide a nurturing, learning and caring environment and serve our mission of providing services to individuals of the general public, regardless of race, color, or ethnic origin.

Profile

The NLC Youth Association was founded in 1997 to provide a nurturing, learning, and caring environment to the members of the community.  The association operates a non-profit licensed child development center that serves youth aged newborn to 12 years old with an integrated preschool.  An on-site community center provides opportunities for the greater community to fellowship together through various community activities and events.

Funding received from Match Day will be used in continued improvements and physical upkeep of the NLC Community Center and Child Development Center buildings to ensure the safety and security of the families we serve.  It is estimated that our organization serves 3,200 individuals annually through our various programs and building requests. Match Day continues to play a significant role in our ability to complete challenging and extensive capital improvement projects.
